He is a designer and design educator with more than a decade of professional experience; he got involved in the design industry before starting his undergraduate studies, and then combined studying Industrial Design with part-time design jobs, to eventually join the design industry as full-time designer upon his graduation. Throughout the years, he has worked for several companies both as an in-house designer, as well as consultant-freelance designer, which allowed him to collaborate in design projects for clients located mainly in Latin America, in the fields of furniture, packaging, retail displays & fixtures, exhibition, accessories, graphic and interior design.

As a design educator, before coming to China in 2019 to teach at a University in Ningbo, he taught Product and Industrial design since 2011 at different Higher Education Institutions in India and Mexico. He is a lifelong learner who values the importance of implementing student-centered learning and user-centered design; that is why as part of his PhD, he explored and gained a better understanding about the multiple factors involved in the processes of educating the future generations of object designers.
