Profile

Ying Zhou (Joey) is currently doing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D) programme at the University of Bath. She started working at XJTLU as a Language Lecturer from 2016. Prior to this, Joey worked as an English Lecturer at the International Foundation Programme of Staffordshire University from 2013 to 2016, and she got her Teaching Certificate in Higher Education in 2015. She promises to provide her students with proficiency, patience and passion.

Joey graduated with distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) with a Master's Degree in Translating and Interpreting in 2012. She was a certified translator and interpreter in Australia and had worked for the Salvation Army as a translator and interpreter in 2011.
