Hi folks! My name is Xinyuan Lyu, and I go by Kara. I was born in Ningbo and raised in Beijing. I graduated from Columbia University with an M.A. in TESOL. I am a fan of travel, science fiction, and Broadway show. I spend my free time exploring the city, writing (sometimes), and maybe baking (still learning).

I aspire to become a teacher who is able to motivate my students, see and appreciate their uniqueness, and stay creative in teaching.
