As a professional Language lecturer with many years of experience working with diverse groups of learners at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Chengcheng Li holds a MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts (Boston) and has taught EAP and Critical Thinking classes. In her teaching, she advocates learner-centered and research-led learning in which she is passionate about instilling in students the importance of thinking critically and creatively. Her experience, insights, and reflections are now published in a book co-authored with Professor Youmin Xi, titled Research-Led Learning and Critical Thinking-EAP Practice by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (Beijing). Her research interests include Critical Thinking, HeXie Mindset, HeXie Theory (by Professor Youmin Xi), Literacy, Sociolinguistics, EAP, and Educational Management. She currently teaches EAP and works on higher education related research projects.
