Anying started working in the English Language Centre at XJTLU in January 2011. Prior to joining XJTLU, she stayed in the UK for five years, most of which she spent studying and working in Liverpool. She completed her MA in TESOL at the University of Liverpool and MSc in International Transport, Trade and Logistics at Liverpool John Moores University. Her previous work experience in the UK has demonstrated her excellent tutoring skills and further developed and strengthened her communication and interpersonal skills. Undoubtedly, her experience in cross-cultural tutoring and communication will be highly beneficial to her students. Her research interest includes Motivating Reluctant Students to Communicate in the Second Language Classroom, EAP Curriculum Design, and NES and NNES English professionals: Strengths and Challenges.
