Airong Wang is a Senior Language Lecturer at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She obtained Doctor of Philosophy in English from Mid-Sweden University, Sweden. Airong has taught university English courses, ranging from Linguistics, Translation to EAP, in both Chinese and Swedish cultures. Her research interest lies in language learning and teaching in virtual environments, particularly in formal credit-bearing English courses using 3D virtual worlds, mobile phones, AR and VR. Airong has been publishing in reputable peer-reviewed journals, including SSCI-indexed journals.
