Profile

Shilei Niu was a Visiting Scholar (2010, 2013 and 2019) and Academic Visitor (2015 and 2020) at the University of Toronto. He also had shorter visits to the University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh, University of Waterloo and National University of Singapore. Apart from actively participating (over 100) in and presenting (over 20) at international conferences, his research results have been widely cited across different fields.

He was awarded the Certi?cate in Professional Studies and became the Fellow of Higher Education Academy in 2018. Shilei received the Certificate in Instructional Skills and completed two courses for the University Teaching Program at the University of Waterloo. In addition, he also obtained professional training ("mini-MBA" program) with a Value-Added Personnel Certificate issued by the Ontario Centres of Excellence in Canada.
