Hands-on experience is a key component of our school. As such, the School of Advanced Technology places great importance on the establishment and improvement of well-equipped teaching and research labs. There are eight research entities based in our School:

• Laboratory of Cognitive Computation and Applied Technology
• Suzhou Key Laboratory of Broadband Wireless Access Technologies
• Virtual Engineering Centre
• Internet of Things Research Centre
• Research Institute of Big Data Analytics
• Centre for Smart Grid and Information Convergence.

We aim to strengthen collaboration with the University of Liverpool as well as other universities, research institutions and companies to set up specialised labs with advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology.
