Members of the department teach the BA Accounting programme and the MSc Professional Accounting programme, and also support widely many other business-related programmes at IBSS.

The BA Accounting programme has received professional accreditations from the ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, CIMA - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CPA, and ICAEW - Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and it is the first undergraduate programme in China to have obtained both 9 ACCA exemptions and 12 CIMA exemptions.

Our MSc Professional Accounting programme has received professional accreditation from ICAEW with 12 ACA exemptions.

We value and support all kinds of student activities such as industry field trips, career talks and professional engagement events. BA Accounting students recently participated in national accounting competitions:

• Champions (2020) in CIMA GBC competition (China and North Asia region)
• Second place (2019), second place and fourth place (2020) in China’s ICAEW BC competition
