3-22-97 "I loved your Joe Montana Page. He is my favorite player." - BrianL83

Thank you! You have great taste (for web pages and quarterbacks!). Thanks for the email.

3-22-97 "Great web site! Keep up the good work. It's hard living in Denver and being a Chiefs fan, as I've been all my life. People in this town worship John Elway, but he's not even in the same league. And he proved that every time he played the Bronco's. Anyway, thanks for the hard work on the site and being a true Montana fan! Joe Montana is still a model of cool even after retirement. Thanks!" - Aaron

Nice to hear from you, Aaron. I know how you feel. I used to be surrounded by Raiders and Rams fans. I don't have that problem anymore, though I do go to see the Chargers when the Chiefs come to San Diego. But hang in there - Elvis Grbac is going to shine at KC! This is going to be our year!

3-18-97 "Awesome job!!! Hi Debbie, I just wanted to tell you what a huge fan of Joe Montana I am. I collect anything I can get about him! At this point I have over 500 different items, and will collect for the rest of my life. I also wanted to say what a great job you did on this page! Keep up the good work. P.S. Could you send me an e-mail or mailing address for Joe? Thanks Again!!" - Jeff Demosthenes

Jeff, I collect things, too, but you definitely outdo me. I'll email you his address at IMG. Take care.

3-15-97 "Debbie, the "Joe Page" is oustanding. I started following Joe when he was at Notre Dame as I was a high school football player at the time. It was incredible how he was first treated at Notre Dame. I'm amazed he never transferred. My favorite thing about Joe is his humbleness. I used to love the postgame interviews. He always gave his teammates all the credit. I think his favorite phrase was, "Our line did a great job today." My favorite piece of Joe memorbilia is the Sports Illustrated retirement cover, "Daddy's Home." After all that is what life is really all about. Joe always had his priorities in the right order. Incidentally, I was fortunate enough to meet Joe at a banquet in Youngstown, Ohio, back in 1982 - a once in a lifetime thrill. Obviously I could go on and on. I really miss watching him play. I don't even follow the NFL. There will never be another Joe. Keep up the great job! Thanks for listening." - John Szuch

I have the "Daddy's Home" issue in a frame in my office. It's a wonderful issue. What a great memory to have met him. I felt like you did about the NFL in the beginning, but I can't help it - I love the game. Thanks for writing!

3-12-97 "Joe Montana is the Best!!!!! No one can stop him. He is great, and so is your page!!!!" - Firemen 5224

I agree with you. Thanks!

3-12-97 "Hey Debbie, I am only 15, but I do recall the most recent Joe Montana moments. I discovered football when I was eight, and right away I knew I was going to be a die-hard Joe Montana fan. I live in Kansas City. I recently met him in October and took a picture with him at a sports store. I believe I was in awe the rest of the week. I have devoted my life savings into Joe Montana memorabilia, and I think that is one of the best things I have ever done. I do hate to ask this, but I would really like to get in touch with him. I have tried so hard to get his home address to send him fan mail, but i keep failing. Could you please mail me and with his address? I would really appreciate that. Thank you very much and once again, GREAT WEB PAGE!" - Ander Vazquez

Great to hear from you, Ander. I just must not be at the right place at the right time. Someday...(sigh). I would love to post your picture on my page, so if you can get it scanned, send it to me as an attachment to an email, and I'd be proud to display it. It's great to buy memorabilia, but I'm not sure I'd devote "all" my life savings to it. Set aside some for school, ok? It's really important to do that. Joe was a great player, but he also got a degree from Notre Dame to fall back on, just in case. I'll email you his address at IMG. Thanks for writing to me, and keep in touch.

3-11-97 "Hi, Debbie. After browsing thourgh your terrific web page again, I noticed that Joe's email address might be available? I'd love to send him an email and thank him for all the wonderful years of football. Could you send me his email address please? Thanks again!" - Tracy Guyer

No problem. I'll email you his agent's address at IMG. Take care.

3-10-97 "Dear Debbie, My sister-in-law Diane lives in Texas. She works with an elderly lady who is a huge Montana fan. She gave up football the day he retired. Now it's her turn to retire, and the girls she works with would like to get her an autographed picture of THE MAN. Can you help me with this? Thanks!" - Sue.

It's on it's way. Good luck!

3-10-97 "My son would be very interested to get a address of Joe Montana so that he may write to him and ask to autogragh a football card of him with Jerry Rice. Thank You for your time." Allan Vernlund

I'll email you the address. Take care.
